Nexus Enterprise Solutions Inc ("Nexus," "we," "us," or "our") provides NexBid, software for business communication, account management, workflow management, reporting, chat, SMS/MMS, email, and related operational tools. This Privacy Policy explains how Nexus collects, uses, discloses, and protects information when NexBid is used, including the portal, public chat experiences, APIs, SMS/MMS programs, and related services.
If you use NexBid on behalf of a company, agency, customer, or other organization, this policy applies to information processed through that account. Separate written agreements may include additional privacy, security, or data processing terms.
Information we collect
Nexus collects information that users, customers, service providers, and integrated systems provide through NexBid. This may include account information, contact information, service-related information, communications, consent records, billing-related information, and information needed to operate the service.
We also collect technical and usage information when NexBid is accessed or used, such as device, browser, log, security, operational telemetry, and verification information.
How we use information
Nexus uses information to provide, operate, secure, support, monitor, and improve NexBid. This includes administering accounts, processing transactions and workflows, enabling communications, maintaining records, preventing misuse, troubleshooting issues, and supporting reporting and business operations.
We may also use information to comply with applicable contracts, laws, industry rules, carrier requirements, audits, and other legal or operational obligations.
Nexus does not use end-user information, mobile phone numbers, or messaging opt-in records for third-party marketing, lead generation, or third-party analytics.
SMS/MMS and mobile information
Nexus may send recurring automated SMS/MMS messages through the NexBid Agent SMS Notifications program. These messages may relate to customer conversations, account assignments or handoffs, reminders, agent account notifications, and operational updates. We may also support workflows where an opted-in user replies by SMS/MMS and that reply is posted into an assigned customer conversation.
Users opt in by entering a mobile phone number in NexBid and accepting the SMS/MMS consent disclosures shown with the opt-in form. The Privacy Policy and Terms and Conditions are provided with the phone-number field. When a user opts in, we collect and maintain the mobile phone number, opt-in status, consent text, consent date, and related compliance records. Message frequency varies based on account activity, communication volume, and active chat sessions. Message and data rates may apply. Consent to receive SMS/MMS messages is not required as a condition of purchase or use of non-SMS NexBid services, but declining or withdrawing consent may limit SMS/MMS notifications.
Reply STOP to the 10DLC messaging number that sent the message to cancel SMS/MMS notifications from that number. Reply HELP to that messaging number for help. You may also contact us at [email protected] or update available account settings to manage SMS/MMS preferences.
No end-user information, including mobile information, mobile phone numbers, SMS/MMS opt-in data, and SMS/MMS consent records, will be sold, rented, or shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing, promotional, lead generation, data enrichment, third-party analytics, or other independent purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent are excluded from all other data-sharing categories and will not be shared with any third parties.
We do not sell or rent mobile phone numbers, SMS/MMS opt-in data, or SMS/MMS consent records.
How we disclose information
Nexus may disclose information to authorized users and organizations, service providers that process information on our behalf, and integrations configured by an account only as needed to provide, support, secure, and operate NexBid.
We may also disclose information when required or permitted by law, contract, carrier or industry rules, business transfers, dispute resolution, security needs, or protection of rights and safety. These disclosures remain subject to the end-user information and mobile information limits above.
Cookies, analytics, and security tools
NexBid may use cookies, browser storage, operational telemetry, application monitoring, Cloudflare Turnstile, and similar technologies to operate the service, remember authentication state, prevent abuse, troubleshoot issues, and monitor service performance. These tools are not permitted to use end-user information for their own marketing, promotional, lead generation, or third-party analytics purposes. You can control some browser storage through your browser settings, but disabling it may affect service functionality.
Retention
Nexus keeps information for as long as needed to provide NexBid, maintain business and compliance records, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, support audits, satisfy legal obligations, and protect the service. Retention periods vary by record type, account configuration, contract, and legal requirement.
Your choices
- You can update account information and SMS/MMS notification preferences where those settings are available in NexBid.
- You can reply STOP to supported SMS/MMS messages to opt out of future SMS/MMS notifications from that messaging number.
- You may request access, correction, deletion, or other handling of personal information by contacting us. We may need to verify your identity and may retain information where required or permitted by law.
- If your information was submitted by an agency, agent, customer, or other organization, we may direct your request to that party when they control the information.
Security
We use administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information. No system is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee that information will be free from unauthorized access, loss, misuse, or alteration.
Children
NexBid is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The updated version will be posted on this page with a new last updated date.
